To start shortly, we are currently seeking for our Chassis department a
(Sr.) Chassis Suspension Release Engineer (M/F/D)
(Sr.) CHASSIS SUSPENSION RELEASE ENGINEER
You will be responsible for
- Drawing release of Chassis (Suspension) parts for EU market (Spring, Shock absorber, Stabilizer bar etc.)
- Pre-/After drawing release tasks, e.g. part preparation for assembly line and local tuning, quality and validation check etc.
- Part optimization in terms of cost, weight, packaging, performance, durability, material and quality
- Close co-work with EU plants & suppliers incl. regular visits to solve and monitor quality issues
- Close co-work with our global Engineering Design Team located in Namyang R&D Centre (South Korea)
- Documentation and presentation of project & development results in English language
Who we are looking for
- Degree in mechanical / automotive engineering
- Ideally >5 years of experience in automotive industry (OEM experience is highly preferred)
- Solid experience as Chassis part release / design engineer at OEM (preferred) or key Tier 1 supplier
- Solid experience in serial part development including design reviews, decision meetings, quality reviews, supplier audits
- Excellent knowledge of Suspension design, technology and related R&D processes
- Sound knowledge of CATIA V5 (as release engineer) and PLM/BOM software
- Willingness to work in an international / intercultural environment
- Excellent analytical skills, pro-active attitude, very good command of English language
- Proficient in reporting and handling of MS Office
