To start shortly, we are currently seeking for our Electrified Propulsion Development division an
(Sr.) Engineer Inverter Power Module Development (M/F/D)
(Sr.) ENGINEER INVERTER POWER MODULE DEVELOPMENT (M/F/D)
You will be responsible for
- Development and testing of power modules reg. package and production with R&D Headquarters and partners in Europe
- Identify partners for innovative and cost-effective solutions with focus on material and process equipment
- Benchmarking and evaluation of power modules and module components
- Inspection and joined development of technologies for power electronic systems
- Cooling design incl. housing for power modules and power electronic systems
- Support build-up of power module prototyping and test facilities within our R&D building
- Initiate co-operation with Universities, attend seminars and workshops with existing research membership network
Who we are looking for
- Degree in electrical / material or production engineering
- At least 3 years’ experience on power electronics, power module and cooling structure design
- Relevant experience and knowledge in characterization and thermal management of semiconductor devices
- Experience in power module process and production techn. (material, assembly, quality and FMEA)
- Openness to widen experience to holistic high voltage inverter and propulsion system development
- Willingness to travel and valid European driving license B
- Excellent analytical skills and a hands-on problem solving & networking mentality
- A very good command of English and strong intercultural & communication skills
- Proficient in presenting, reporting and handling Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel
